Our whole ConneKt Film team is already buzzing with excitement, handpicking the must-see films and events for this year’s festival. To kick off the TIFF season in style, we’re inviting you to our official LAUNCH PARTY ON SEPTEMBER 2nd - the perfect way to celebrate with fellow creatives and industry leaders before the festival whirlwind begins. Mark your calendars now and stay tuned for all the details. We can’t wait to share this special milestone with you!

As we approach our first anniversary, we’re reflecting on the incredible journey we’ve taken together. From collaborating with Canadian Film Fest, Pendance Film Festival, TFS Fest, Leverage Lens, and VRTO Conference, to launching our Not Just A Filmmaker initiative and hosting our own events and workshops, it has been a year of meaningful partnerships, bold ideas, and community impact. We’re proud to have published dozens of centralized resources and supported hundreds of filmmakers along the way.

ConneKt Film is powered by a team that spans Indonesia, Ukraine, India, and beyond. We believe in bringing our cultures, creativity, and stories into everything we do. That’s why our celebrations and our work are all about honouring diversity, fostering creative expression, and building real community.
